Lola Faturoti, pictured below, is a great up and coming designer. I discovered her advertising some looks from her line in the east village today!
She had five models standing on the back of a truck that was parked on the Bowery. They changed there position every minute or so in order for the passers by to get a good look at the clothes. A great way to advertise I think! Faturoti has put together colors, fabrics, and shapes in a wonderful and fresh way! Her Spring Summer '08 collection is a great mixture of eclectic colors and favorite shapes! I love it!!

thats such an original way to advertise! she will definitely get some attention and recognition now.
I like the mustard/blue dress and the trousers with the yellow blouse.I think they' re quite good designs but I don't like the green shirtdress at all...:S
plus I like what she's wearing but she probably hasn't designed it(!)
I agree.. an amazing, creative and definitely original way to advertise! Props to her.. and of course, props to you for the AMAZING blog! Keep up the good work, I'm such a fan of your amazing sense of style and your truly amazing blog!

it's such a fab marketing campaign!!! her clothes are so sunny!!!
The models on the truck, remind me of something that they would do for an ANTM contest.
