Thank you & Nan Kempner

Hi everyone, First off I want to say thank you so much for all of your answers to my previous post, I understand how everything works now!!
Now, all of you should go to Metropolitan Museum of Art ASAP to see the exhibit "Nan Kempner: American Chic". The Met recreated, with the help of Kempner's husband, part of her closet. I went with a friend yesterday and it is amazing, I've never seen so many incredible clothes in one personal closet before. Nan Kempner owned over 600 pieces from Yves Saint Laurent, she was also believed to be Saint Laurent's muse early on in her life. But, aside from the amazing YSL pieces you can expect to see beautiful pieces from designers such as Balenciaga, Madame Gres, Bill Blass, Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino, and more. Kempner owned fabulous jewelry as well, mostly from Kenneth Jay Lane. Everything shown in the Met is probably 1/4 of her wardrobe but, it is definitley a must see!! Everything from her resort/ beach wear to her evening couture is fabulous!!
Here are a few pictures from the show:

Valentino Evening Gown, Red Chiffon with white polka - dotts.
I love this dress. It's absolutely gorgeous

Yves Saint Laurent Evening Ensemble, Yellow Silk Faille Cape with Black Silk Velvet Gown
Gorgeous, right?

Madame Gres, Silk Jersey Evening Gowns
I don't want to give the whole show away so theres a few for you!!
NOW GO SEE THE REST!!!!!!

Here are a few pictures of Nan Kempner herself:

The red chiffon dress was beautiful, there is no other way to say it. I stumbled upon this blog and I like what I have seen so far.
